Since Edesia's Ice Cream opened in 2013, it's been keeping customers guessing with an ever-changing assortment of artisan ice creams. The flavors usually change on a weekly basis, so even if you just visited the farmers market stand, there will always be something new to try.
Edesia's sets up shop at the Bowie Farmers' Market every Sunday from May through the end of October (when the market is open), so you still have plenty of time to enjoy its sweet treats. Customers rave about the seasonally inspired flavors, such as caramel apple, butter almond, and vanilla cinnamon honey. Pineapple and basil sorbet, beet and mascarpone ice cream, and even fried Spam ice cream have all made the menu in years past. Pick up a pint (or several) of the gourmet ice cream the next time you visit the market on Sunday morning from 8 a.m. to noon.
